The security forces, in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on Monday killed a high-profile terrorist Qudrat Shah, also known as Abubakar, in the Bara area of Khyber district in Khyber-Pakthunkhwa, the military said in a statement.
The terrorist was involved in numerous terrorist activities. Alongside the successful elimination of the militant, security forces recovered weaponry and ammunition from the possession of the killed terrorist, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
In a separate incident occurring in the Darazinda region of Dera Ismail Khan district, terrorists targeted vehicles belonging to a private company engaged in a local development project.

Tragically, during the attack two innocent civilian employees identified as 35-year-old Muhammad Faisal and 29-year-old Asif Kamran, both residents of district Karak, embraced martyrdom. Additionally, Sepoy Syed Muhammad Shaheen Shah, 33 years old, hailing from district Hangu deployed for the project’s security, fought bravely but succumbed to the attack and embraced martyrdom.
The security forces swiftly initiated a sanitisation operation in the affected area to eradicate any remaining terrorist elements.
Meanwhile, the security forces reiterate their commitment to eliminating the menace of terrorism and pledge to continue supporting the economic progress of the area.
