KARACHI:
The Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police, Riffat Mukhtar Raja, visited the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and toured different divisions. During this visit, DIG CTD Zulfiqar Lark provided a detailed overview of the department’s operations, including information on personnel, firearms, ammunition, equipment, and facilities.
The IG emphasised the importance of implementing promotion regulations within the department and called for decisive action against crimes through intelligence-based operations (IBOs). He stressed the need for effective intelligence sharing, follow-up procedures and advancements in intelligence collection methods.
Furthermore, the IG called for a strong stance against individuals involved in organised crimes and severe offences in the region.
